INSPIRATION

Live(stream) an Open day

During a pandemic, organizing an open day was quite a challenge due to the ban on physical events. Together with Nuenens College, we came up with an innovative solution to give prospective students a solid impression of the school and its programs. We did this by making smart use of our platform, setting up a separate livestream studio for each learning path. Visitors could watch live and ask questions directly to the teachers.

The (live) Christmas show

In times when it’s more difficult to bring large groups together, a livestream is of course the perfect solution. You can choose different setups, multiple speakers, or even go for a DJ and a potato peeling contest!

Once again, companies are coming up with the most creative ways to engage with their viewers.

Hybrid stream

A livestream is the best way to inform a large group of people all at once. This often takes place online, from a studio or another (beautiful) location. Nowadays, it’s also possible to invite people to attend the livestream in person. This allows the audience in the room to watch along as well.

This way, you create interaction with both remote viewers and the live audience. With a simple QR code, everyone can join in!

Podiums

Do you have two presenters or speakers, or are you working with rotating speakers? Then the easiest option is to go for two small podiums.

This way, you’ll still have room in the studio for other decor elements — or even a small demonstration, like how to play handball, for example.

Large table setting

ACE is celebrating its 10th anniversary — and that calls for a party! For this live event, SoMMedia provided the videos, the on-location studio, and the entire design package to make the show extra festive. Not only did we get to film at a spectacular location, but the beautiful private car collection of Louwman was also on display. A truly special event!

Best of all: everyone with access to the livestream could tune in and celebrate the success together.

Desk

Prefer to stand, but still want to show a few things? Then the “pie slice” setup might be the right choice.

With the pie slice, you can have up to 3 people standing at the table. This setup can be expanded with additional podiums on the sides or even a product demonstration. Discuss the possibilities with the project manager.

Own furniture

Our studio includes a selection of standard furniture pieces. Do you have your own furniture or something else you’d like to feature on camera? No problem!

Armchair setting

In our studio, we offer a number of standard setups to choose from — including an armchair setting for when you want to create a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Curious what that looks like? We’ve got a short clip showcasing this setup.
